Review on Enhanced Sony SAL18250 Alpha DT 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 High Magnification Zoom Lens by Wyteboi Nallamothu

I bought this lens for my Sony Alpha 77 camera to keep an old 18-105mm lens as my go-to lens for all of my travel photography replace it and I wasn't disappointed at all. Focus is accurate and there is very little image distortion when taking wide-angle photos in a horizontal position. Under 30mm vertical shots there is some distortion and a small dark blur in the corners of the frame, but that's my only negative observation. Before purchasing this lens I read a review about internal focus motor noise which I did not find intrusive or unacceptable. Low noise is a good compromise for fast and accurate focusing with this lens. I think that might be an issue if you're trying to capture a lot of video with this lens, but otherwise it shouldn't be an issue. I used my Alpha camera with this lens to shoot a wedding while in Thailand and the camera/lens noise was almost imperceptible during the ceremony. I definitely recommend this lens to both amateurs and professionals.
