You get what you pay for. Didn't pass also 9 months since the chair began to leave. I'm a gamer but I don't play that often so the chair doesn't get used that much. The material on one of the armrests began to tear, causing part of the armrest to fall off. The material on the top of the chair also begins to tear. Every few weeks the armrests of the chair will start to loosen and need to be tightened again. I've been waiting for a replacement armrest for 3 weeks and it hasn't arrived yet. . Shortly after receiving the chair, I received a mail saying I would receive a free gift if I left a review. That's probably why there are so many good reviews here.
