Unlike the 2" hangers I bought with them, the end caps are fine. They have no bumps that can cause leakage; grooves; There are no holes in the lids (that's kind of a joke but given the poor construction of the clamps I wouldn't overlook this manufacturer/brand (Dernord) to make them look like donuts as the engineers design the clamps obviously don't know what the parts are for.
