I found this to be a great monitor for web development, video editing, etc. This is NOT a gaming monitor unless we're talking light stuff like The Sims, but that's not the design here. The technology, responsiveness, etc. in this monitor has made it very suitable for amateur editing as well as developing and deploying tableau visualizations. It's not intended as a collaboration monitor as it has a flat screen (as opposed to a curved one) so the viewing angles aren't surprising. Of course, it's easy to set up. Not sure if I have the updated model, but it charges my MacBook Pro via a USB-C cable with no problem. Once set up I'll say that since I won't be playing here I haven't messed around with FreeSync at all - 60Hz is great for video work. about your work preferences. However, I was able to use this monitor to set up a working timeline and it did a good job with videos that I've played around with from time to time. It's also enough for me to get windows side-by-side (no borders!) to display the Tableau desktop and the target webpage on Tableau Server, allowing me to code, publish, and view the final product fairly easily. I think this is a very good monitor for such purposes. It's probably frustrating trying to get this to work with games that benefit from a higher refresh rate or color response, so I'm not even trying. When it comes to development, I mentioned that this is the best. Very good monitor!
