Review on 🚲 RockyMounts Locking Loball bike rack for pickup trucks with quick release feature by Ramon Hood

Bought 2 x RockyMounts Loball and 2 x drive shafts to mount on their 60" rack. I adjusted it to sit on the tonneau cover so I can take full advantage of the bike box and tow the camper. homework but i made it. The only problem is I've only had them installed for 1.5 weeks and have noticed rust on some components (both models). I have attached pictures. Very disappointed. Should I return them? They shouldn't rust, they're designed for the road. Cheap materials for some components. A stainless steel or zinc coating would at least prevent this. Great product for all my needs but I don't know what to do. I don't want to throw them away after a year and buy a different setup. I think I'll contact RockyMounts directly and see what can be done. Worst case, send it back, sigh. Luckily I can get other brands/models to work, it's just inconvenient.
