Worked best in controls and indicators

This relay was my lifesaver! I've been trying to replace the reverse buzzer in my club car with a relay so I don't have to hear that annoying buzzer. But all the mechanical relays I tried didn't work. I think the coil drew too much current. So I tried this relay - and woo! It worked! I had to add some resistors to drop the input voltage from 48V to around 16V, but other than that I'm very happy with it. It should be noted that when tested, my ohmmeter was connected to normally open contacts and it turned out not to work. There was no continuity when the input voltage was applied. I'm not sure why, but it could be because the output circuit needs more voltage to trigger the normally open contacts. All I can say is it works and I'm very happy with it!

Pros
  • Solid state relay
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
