I got this for my sister in law. I ordered another one for her, in the same different style as hers, so I decided I'd keep the one she wouldn't take for myself. This was in the higher price range, but it was worth it. It comes with a brush which was unique to me and that's why I wanted to try it. I usually have a straightener in one hand and a comb in the other, so having it all in one was weird at first. I tried it to see if it worked well and I liked that it heats up to over 400 degrees because that's what we're used to. The hair does not become tight, the hair is smooth and silky afterwards. I really hope she doesn't go for this one so I can keep it as I love how my hair turned out as you can see in the picture. But with any luck, she'll like it as much as I do. I might just have to buy another one lolol as my sister always borrows hair products from me and extra money can't hurt :) it heats up to 450 degrees, makes those steaming sounds and it straightens my hair after 2 tokes, so it is pretty cool and different
