Worked great on my wife's 2002 Suburban along with my original 2001 Chevy Tahoe key fob which broke after she accidentally stepped on it and I didn't have a fob to begin programming it took about 45 seconds which could be better. If you don't know how to program, here's a quick run while sitting in a truck with the door closed and holding the unlock button while turning on the key. incl. off and then release the unlock button, the truck should let you know it's ready to pair your key when you hear the locks toggle on and off. At this point, press and hold the release lock on the key fob until you hear the truck locks toggle on and off. You do the first one until you don't need to program anymore, just toggle the key on and off and you're good to go. Hope that helps
