First you need a 32GB micro SD card. Once you have inserted the card into the device, you should not remove it. The included USB cable charges the battery and allows you to format the SD card, view the captured video and save it to your PC. The battery must be fully charged. There is a .txt file on the SD card which the device automatically creates. It is called: TIME.txt. Open the .txt file, set the date and time and save the file. There are no other settings. The device also creates a folder called "VIDEO" and stores videos in this folder. The SD card does not need to be removed from the camera. There is an OFF and ON switch on the back of the device. This switch is for the camera only. The SD card can be read when the camera is off. Handling the camera needs practice. The included hanging device works great. The videos my device records are in .avi format, my device has a microphone and my recordings have audio. This information is not included in the product description. When you are ready to watch your videos, you press the activation button once. Files saved (hopefully). Sometimes it saves corrupted files. You remove the device from the mount and connect it to your computer with the included cable and voilà! I hope you have a video with sound! It looks like a regular hanger.
