Review on Aqueon AAG29036 Versa Top Aquarium, 36 x 12-Inch by Dave Rasic

Wasted money on this. I have bought 4 other canopies and always kept the pieces separate because the black stripe creating the loops blocks too much light as I want my light to be in the middle of the tank (front to back) and not the front or back is. Now it appears they used NASA glue to attach the black stripe and when they tried to remove it the glass broke completely rendering the lantern unusable. Why can't the loop be transparent, as well as the extra piece they can cut out where the equipment is in the tank (cooktops, heating cables, sponge filter air duct, etc.)? I will never buy these scales again as none of the other four I disassembled were that difficult to make and could be disassembled in minutes with very little effort.
