Working from home has become so trendy this year (sarcasm) that I've been using my laptop not only in the home office but at many other places use as well. I got this after my husband suggested trying a laptop stand as he says it's easier to type on but also raises the screen and helps keep the laptop cool. When this one arrived it took me a minute to figure out how to set the height as I had no instructions. After looking at the photos of the product I figured out how the foldable parts fit together and used it on our dining table. The silicone pads prevent it from sliding on the table or scratching the desk or laptop, and after trying a few different heights I found one that fits me very well. I've also found it very useful for supporting my iPad when using it in the kitchen after a recipe, or using the iPad as a companion device when using my laptop. It folds thin enough to easily fit in the handy pocket of a laptop sleeve. My only concern is that there are a couple of spots where the non-scratch silicone pads' adhesive doesn't stick to the aluminum frame. This isn't a problem now, but it will become a problem as the loose areas grow. If the price is around $20 (none at the time of this review), that's four stars. If more then three stars. I'm going with four now.
