No awards for aesthetics, but unbeatable functionality! After a second handle assembly failure on a Craftsman My Stride mower that uses a lever bar encased in a brittle plastic handle, it's time to rip it all out and find another throttle solution. That was it! The cord is slightly longer than a standard lawnmower cord, but it takes up the slack by routing it through the top of the handle (as shown). Shortening the cable is most likely possible, but I didn't want to mess with it, and the final mounting position is very convenient (see image).
