Review on AlphaTRAK 2 Blood Glucose Test Strips - 50 Count by Joseph Morris

looks like a mugger

The strips worked great except about 2 of the first 25 didn't work. I bought the alphatrak 2 for my cat on the advice of the vet because she said it was a great machine and you only need a minimal amount of blood to get it going. It is true. The car came with 25 stripes. Little did I know that once they were gone I would have to pay $1 a strip. Since then I've come to the conclusion that there are machines that are just as good but the strips are half the price. I will throw this machine away or sell it and buy a machine that uses cheaper strips. After using the 25 strips that came with the device I checked into Revain to order more strips and was SHOCKED TO SEE THEY COST $50 FOR 50 STIPS! I may need to check my cat's glucose levels daily, and sometimes multiple times a day. I've found other machines with specs that match this machine, so I'm going to buy a machine that uses cheaper strips (I won't name brands). ). My advice to everyone: don't buy these strips or a machine, buy one that uses strips at a cheaper price. It reminds me of a great pistol printer I came across, it was only about $50 but it ran out of ink so quickly and the ink cartridges cost 2 as much as the entire printer. This also applies to the alphatrak 2 device. The device was around $49 on Amazon, and the test strips on Amazon were just over $50. Keep in mind that they are more expensive than most other sites. Chewy.com sells them for $64. Let the market decide. I vote with my feet. Fuck this money scam
