You can use a flathead screwdriver or a sharp awl to unscrew them. I think I used a light drill for one because it was deep in the screw hole. Wear gloves, it's a bit messy and I recommend a respirator so you don't inhale the gas fumes. It took me about 6 hours, mainly cleaning the dirty surface of the lid, being careful not to damage the connectors.
