UPDATE: After I posted my initial review, the seller contacted me about the issues I was having with this product. He explained that while roll deviations are uncommon, they can occur. He was very apologetic and wanted to do his best to make things right. I received a new roll of the same product and it's perfect. No problem. Obviously, a seller is someone who not only cares about selling their product, but also about keeping their customers happy. I would order again without hesitation. I am changing my rating to 5 stars. I ordered this product as a hardwood in a dollhouse. It came on a roll. I removed the strapping from the roll and started cutting "boards" for a room in the dollhouse. As I started to put the wood on I noticed that the roll was cut unevenly. When I line up the boards there is at least a 1/16 inch difference between some of the pieces I cut depending on which part of the roll the piece came from. To do this I have to check each "board" and takes a lot of time. I can either measure each piece and cut accordingly or have different sizes of "boards" in each room of the dollhouse. Dolls houses are never built perfectly but for the money I paid for this product I am not happy having to fix or work around a seller's error. I bought the product believing it would be 1/2 inch as advertised and nowhere near 1/2 inch in roll pieces. I would give zero stars if that was an option.
