Works as expected on veneer

I bought veneered birch plywood for the edge. I have used edging tape many times in the past and it worked as well as any and the price per roll was cheap. The match with plywood veneer was very good. I applied it with an old household iron from a resale store and trimmed it with a 1-1/4" SHARP chisel laying flat on the wood that was edge banded and sanded on a block for an invisible seam. It was finished with water based polyurethane after sanding with 220 grit sandpaper.

High quality, value, lots of edges

I think the Oictuea speak for themselves. This table was made entirely of plywood and then sheathed with the edges of all surfaces. Spot was very well received! The adhesive is very strong and irons perfectly. Tip: Don't overheat or apply too much pressure or your hot glue will bleed out the sides of the edge and could potentially leave the area pristine! There is no need to press the plywood hard. Glue and heat are enough for a strong bond.

Exactly what I expected

Built some counters for a retail store. Used cedar and oak plywood. HD and Lowes were birch plywood which is what I wanted. I needed an edge to cover the cut edges of the plywood. You just put it in and hold the iron for about ten seconds. If you move the iron and the edge isn't in the right position, just lift it up because the glue is still hot and align it. Then you continue ironing until the entire strip is finished. Cut an edge strip about 1 inch longer than necessary and when the glue has

The hot glue sticks very well.

I was wondering how effective the glue would be, but it holds up really well. I ordered a size about 1/16" too big so I had to trim it. Trimming was a pain so make sure you try to get the exact size you need. The binding is unfinished. As I have it on When I applied natural finish cabinets I simply applied a clear spray top coat to seal it after application. Results have been good and I recommend the product. This has been used on cabinets above and to the side of my range. Moisture from…

Easy to use, even for beginners.

I bought these (also the 1/2 inch version) to edge the top of boxes in our trailer that weren't laminated so the edge of the plywood was showing. Installation was easy, although I set the iron on dry heat, about medium, and slowly ran along the strips at the top of the drawer. The carpenter said I could take a razor and cut off the strip hanging from the edge of the drawer side. He was right, but sometimes I would dig into the side of the drawer and remove the liner from the side of the drawer…

Good if you have to do a lot of edging

The adhesive holds great and is enough to attach to the edge of poor quality plywood or chipboard. You get a lot of it for the money too, so if you have a few hundred foot of cabinets to strap with, you'll definitely save time cutting (and sanding) your own strips. Gluing requires some practice so that it does not slip or leave open edges. It has been made slightly wider than 3/4 inch to give you some wiggle room. Its disadvantages are: - The tape is thin enough that you can see the plywood…

THE SELLER DID IT RIGHT! Attention lovers!

UPDATE: After I posted my initial review, the seller contacted me about the issues I was having with this product. He explained that while roll deviations are uncommon, they can occur. He was very apologetic and wanted to do his best to make things right. I received a new roll of the same product and it's perfect. No problem. Obviously, a seller is someone who not only cares about selling their product, but also about keeping their customers happy. I would order again without hesitation. I am…
