Good if you have to do a lot of edging

The adhesive holds great and is enough to attach to the edge of poor quality plywood or chipboard. You get a lot of it for the money too, so if you have a few hundred foot of cabinets to strap with, you'll definitely save time cutting (and sanding) your own strips. Gluing requires some practice so that it does not slip or leave open edges. It has been made slightly wider than 3/4 inch to give you some wiggle room. Its disadvantages are: - The tape is thin enough that you can see the plywood lines through the wood. - The seams are closely spaced so you can't get more than 2 feet or so in it without a seam. The seam, done right, will remain hidden from the casual observer, but you and other experienced eyes will see. It needs to be sanded down. - The only real way to get a straight edge is with a router. Sanding doesn't work because the glue quickly sticks the sanding pad together. The little tools they sell that cut along the edge don't work the way the wood will start splitting in the wrong place. direction and it will mess up the edge.
