Beautiful and durable. I don't think the pinched part where your feet rest is comfortable for bare feet. Although not too rough for those who aren't as sensitive to rough textures as I am. But it works well with socks or shoes to keep your feet from slipping. I don't want it to be a smooth surface so it's not a downside but maybe something to consider if you plan on using it barefoot. I bought one for my new home office and loved it so much I bought another for my work office. I've always used plastic at work and a lot of it broke. They are noisy and the slightest pressure when changing positions can cause many of them to break. Strongtek is very durable and I expect it to last a long time. It's easy too. I often move it with my feet to slide it under the table. It's quiet on the carpet and nobody will hear it. I just wish it was a little wider to allow for a more comfortable foot position. If you're small and need a footrest, this is by far my favorite that I've found so far.
