Review on 💫 OnePlus 8 Interstellar Glow: 5G Unlocked, 12GB RAM, 256GB Storage, 90Hz Display, Triple Camera, & Alexa Built-in by Sirirat Benjakalyani ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The right product for me, there were no problems.

Oh, how tired I am of big and heavy shovels! It is for this reason that the poco f2 pro was sold. Not even because it doesn't have a 90Hz screen, it's stupidly big and heavy. Oneplus 8 when I took it in my hand for the first time, I felt pleasure. It just fits perfectly in the palm of your hand, although you can’t call it compact, but believe me, compared to poco f2 pro, it feels much smaller and lighter. The camera option in the corner of the screen, in my experience, turned out to be the best. And it doesn’t interfere with playing, and watching movies, while always ready for work, no need to swipe and wait for it to rise. It's too early to judge autonomy. It will obviously be smaller than poco, but at the moment I can rate it as good. Maybe a little later, the battery will swing a little (as it was with the pocophone) and the autonomy will grow even more. I compared it with 8 pro when buying and yes, the screen is really a little better there, and I notice the difference between 90 and 120 Hz by eye, but the dimensions are too much for me, so I just chose 8. Moisture protection is not important to me. Once I relied on it, as a result, the phone drowned through a closed SIM card tray - not a warranty case. I also once had wireless charging, pampering and charging slowly, so I didn’t write it down as a disadvantage. A little pricey, but definitely worth it. All the same, it will not be possible to save money and get the same quality device. All the same, it will be saved somewhere on quality, which means on yourself. Oneplus 8 is a phone that doesn't save anywhere. You can only poke at the screen, saying why 90 and not 120Hz? On the other hand, the difference between them is not big, but the price is less, and the battery lasts longer. In short, I didn’t have a better smartphone. Perhaps I will calm down on it for 2-3 years. it has everything and with a huge margin for the future. I let a friend play for 30 minutes, a week later he sold his iPhone XR (which cost more!), saying that he could not use the iPhone now. How do I understand it, because after such a screen, the iPhone feels like an old shit. M :)

Pros
  • - 90Hz amoled It is smooth, bright, clear, in general, excellent quality, with a built-in scanner, fast enough and accurate. Neat cutout for the camera. There are no color distortions and uneven covenants, as was the case in poco f2 pro at low brightness (maybe there was a marriage). Maximum brightness - my respect! - Sizes and dimensions. Gorgeously lies in the hand, unlike my previous phones (poco f2 pro, redmi note 9 pro). There are roundings of the screen, but they are not large and do not interfere with work. The weight is perfect. - Materials and workmanship. I especially liked the green matte color. Looks great. - Powerful processor and fast memory. 865th dragon and 12GB of RAM - perhaps without comment here. Initially I wanted to take 8/128, but the price difference was only 2500r, the choice was obvious. As a result - everything just flies. 256 GB I vryat when I fill it. There is enough RAM to collapse tanks, or pubg and then calmly deploy without restarting and continue playing. Impressive. - shell. This is my first oneplus, as it turned out, I missed a lot . I have never had such a flexible and thoughtful shell. Almost everything has been thought of, down to the smallest detail. I really love this when the manufacturer pays a lot of attention to useful little things. - Stereo is cool. I thought it was just a marketing feature, it turned out to be a cool topic, especially in shooters and when watching movies. The quality is very good. - there is no difference between the Chinese version, or for any other country. All bands are present, the language is supported. - the sound in the headphones is also excellent. Not audiophile, but very decent. All codecs are there. - Trotting is fine. The phone is a little warm in games. It heats up a little more than the pocophone, but the results in the antutu several runs and in the cpu throttling test are similar to the pocophone. I expected a worse result, due to a more compact case. Just great. - Instant face unlock. - Cameras are good. For me this is more than enough. I don't look at pixels under a microscope.
Cons
  • - No always on display, which is very strange. Even the galaxy a50 has this feature. - no 3.5 jack. Although now it is no longer very relevant. - the light sensor behaves strangely. All the time trying to underestimate the brightness. Obviously a software problem, I hope they fix it with the firmware. - I would like a little less minimum brightness. - decent distortion (barrel) at the edges of the frame of the main module. - macro module for show.

I switched to it from oneplus6 and to be honest, I see the difference between them only in appearance.
