so i was a bit hesitant to buy it at first but it worked. At first my controller wouldn't turn on so I bought a new battery because I didn't see anything wrong with the connector, it wasn't broken or anything. I replaced the battery and it turned on. But it wasn't charging, so I figured it was a USB charging port. I read the negative reviews and didn't know whether to buy or not. But in the end I bought it. I mean it's still cheaper than buying a new controller. I'm glad I did, it seems to be charging. I haven't connected to my PS4 as I'm away from home, but that seems to be working. A tip: make sure to fold the curve like the original. I checked before closing. But I damaged one of the folds because it started to squeeze when closing because it was in the wrong position. When I finally closed it and tried to charge it, it didn't charge, had to open it again, I replaced the cable with a new one. Glad they sent two. I folded it like the original and it works.
