I struggled with harsh/tinny highs. I couldn't understand why. Tried different karts on my TT, loaded the WTF and couldn't get rid of it. Believe it or not, these turned out to be my Kimber 8TC speaker cables. I've searched a bit and found people having the same issue of 8TC sounding too bright/tinny on their system. Since the Blue Jean cables were affordable, I decided to give it a try. Delivered and connected. Dropped a pin on a Steely Dan. I immediately heard the difference. Gentle and natural-sounding highs, not shrill. These are quality cables both physically and musically. I'm a BJC fan. Do not get me wrong. I don't like Kimber at all. These are excellent cables. Just not for my setup.
