I used to have two different brands of kitchen grinders and liked both so I appreciate the comparison. Love the bowl size, the power and the whisk idea which my other two choppers don't have. The engine is on top, which is new to me. I'm not sure I really like it, but not critical. I struggled with the fact that the whisk was connected to the blade. It took me a while to figure out how to separate them. I've shown what I think it should look like in case someone might have the same problem. Since the blade is involved, I guess I was too careful and didn't try hard enough to get the part out. I chopped up some nuts, which is what I usually use these grinders for, and they did the job. I look forward to using the whisk! Additionally, at the time of writing this review, the price has been reduced by 30%, which can only please a food chopper of this caliber.
