Low and Slow Style Pitmaster

I'm a Pitmaster by trade (you can check out all my smoky qualities on Instagram under the hashtag "thekingofwings") and I bought this grill just to have another option to fill the need "Barbecue" when the North East weather during the 7 winter months makes smoking/grilling a challenge at times. I will say that overall this product DOES NOT disappoint as far as smoking goes and it does it well, i prefer to cook my food in a low and slow temperature like each of the 6 smokers and this grill certainly delivers.I have the wings and beef ribs in the photos at 250 degrees (lid closed) for 1 hour 15 minutes for the Wings and 2 hours for the ribs and cooked The results shown in the pictures speak for themselves Even if you don't get the "barbecue" flavor you mi t got charcoal and wood, the food is still turns out to be AMAZING. Crispy, tender, fluffy and delicious! The smaller size is perfect for a family of 3 or less. It's easy to clean if you have a dishwasher and it's no big deal if you don't as the design certainly makes it easy to hand wash as well. The only thing I would like to improve is the lid, it can definitely be domed so large cuts of meat can be cooked low and slow with the lid closed as there is limited space between the griddle and the lid. That and as many other people have pointed out, there are no clear instructions on how best to place the handle on the lid, particularly because the top of the lid is curved and the ends of the handle that attach are straight. Huh!?!?!Also, this grill is awesome and I forgot to mention "smoke"?!?! No, I haven't, because they simply don't exist. I'm sure if you run Temp at Max to sear meat there will be some smoke, but for everyday cooking there is none at all. And the last. The device switched off exactly after 2 hours of cooking. I'm sure this is a safe future, but nowhere in the limited instructions was this mentioned so thought I'd share this tidbit. I hope this has helped you in your decision making and keep that in mind.
