Review on 🔴 High Yield Magenta Toner Cartridge HP 414X W2023X for HP Color LaserJet Pro M454 Series, M479 Series by Brian Rivenbark

TLDR: Bought this printer in November 2019 and used it daily in a small office. Prints very well and relatively quickly. Toner costs just got out of hand. The 414X ink set (extended cartridge) costs $876 at the time of this review. That's almost double the price of this printer. 414A ink is cheaper, but the smaller toner is used up much faster. The smaller ones end up being a lot more expensive than the big ones. My shop used up the toner cartridge in 4-6 weeks. There are counterfeit toner cartridges priced at $125 a set. These are advanced cartridges and they work well, but you need to replace the chip from the OEM cartridge every time. which is incredibly impractical. After more than a year of chip replacement, it is still inconvenient. The printer also always thinks that the ink is empty and displays error messages. But for just TWICE the cost of the printer, these errors can go away for a few months. If one of the fake cartridges runs out, you won't get any errors (because you'll ALWAYS get them), but you'll get poor quality prints. with color streaks from an almost empty cartridge. It's not the worst thing ever, but it's painful to notice after a run of 400 sheets that each of those sheets has a huge magenta stripe on the edge. This printer produces good prints and is relatively fast. The toner situation is crazy, completely paralyzed by proprietary chip cartridges. I regret the purchase and dream of the day
