I bought this to have a spare when I was away. I needed something cheap and as another reviewer said if most of these trimmers are made in China why spend the extra money on a brand name one? Well I will tell you that with a relatively short beard (typically 5-6mm) this beard trimmer takes FOREVER to trim my hair. Sometimes 15-20 minutes of work and I'm not done yet. And even when I do, I find sections of my beard that are longer than others. I can't rate too low because it was a low price, so what did I expect? But my old trimmer is dead and I will definitely spend a little more than this to replace it.
