This razor uses only 2 different combs which, in combination with the dial, allow you to change the length from 1 to 20 mm (from 1 to 11 on one comb, from 11 to 20 on the other comb). I have been using Philips models for many years and I love them. However, after a few years of use, I dropped them on a tiled floor (once out of several times), after which they stopped working. Apparently this model is sold out right now so I found these sminiker trimmers. I like them just as much as my previous Phillips model and they're about half the price.
