Sensors don't last long - temperature and humidity

This thermometer is absolute crap. I'm an avid BBQ lover, so I use a thermometer regularly. That being said, it's imperative that my probes work accurately. I had to contact support several times because of a defective sensor. The first time nothing showed up and the second time the temperature immediately fluctuated around +-50 degrees (I cook on a Kamado grill which also has a dome thermometer and I usually fluctuate around 225-275 depending on what I'm doing) . I cook). These issues basically render this product useless, to say the least! I will say it! Your customer service is fine! I contacted them and they sent me a new probe which took 2 weeks haha. So if you enjoy dealing with customer service and are looking for a reasonably priced thermometer and don't cook things like brisket, boston bum etc (good stuff) then that's fine. Then I strongly recommend spending a little more money and going with Thermoworks! Proven to work and last a long time! It's amazing how this thermometer ranks #1 in Revain's rankings.

Pros
  • Kitchen Timer: The cooking thermometer has a forward and backward countdown function, perfect for long cooking times; The receiver will beep and flash once it reaches the set temperature
Cons
  • Off fashion
