Sensors don't last long - temperature and humidity

This thermometer is absolute crap. I'm an avid BBQ lover, so I use a thermometer regularly. That being said, it's imperative that my probes work accurately. I had to contact support several times because of a defective sensor. The first time nothing showed up and the second time the temperature immediately fluctuated around +-50 degrees (I cook on a Kamado grill which also has a dome thermometer and I usually fluctuate around 225-275 depending on what I'm doing) . I cook). These issues…

Pros
  • Kitchen Timer: The cooking thermometer has a forward and backward countdown function, perfect for long cooking times; The receiver will beep and flash once it reaches the set temperature
Cons
  • Off fashion

I just changed my rating from 2 to 5 stars, here's why.

When I received my thermometer I had the same problem as many others, the sensors wouldn't turn on (I got the HHH message on the display). I was very disappointed and wrote a review for the first time to warn potential buyers. The very next day, ThermoPro representatives contacted me, apologized and said they were aware of the problem and how to fix it. Solution? Squeeze them harder haha and it worked! I felt so stupid but yes that is the solution, just apply more pressure without fear of…

Pros
  • USDA Temperature Presets: BBQ thermometer with preset temperatures for 9 types of meat and their various USDA recommended doneness levels; All preset temperatures can be reset to your desired taste
Cons
  • Almost never

It works, buy one. I like my.

Overall I like the device. Pros: 1. It is accurate and works well. I've tested it with boiling, cool, and cold water against my expensive analog thermometer. There is no difference between Leads.2. Never lost touch and was easy to use. I reached 250 feet with no problem.3. Communication loss alarm 3. Long cable length. They are quite long.4. Stainless steel braided wires.5. Batteries included!?!?!? (YES!) 6. Durable without being heavy. You don't have to worry about it falling off the table or…

Pros
  • Easy Installation: No syncing required, say goodbye to tedious setup steps; Large LCD displays food and oven temperature; Backlight for use in low light conditions

Highly recommended Remote Reading Thermometer

We grill a lot of fish in the summer and lamb and beef in the winter. When grilling an expensive cut of meat like prime fillet, it's important to preserve the quality of the meat. The remote-readable thermometer allows you to control the temperature while entertaining your guests. Here in Alaska, too, it is often more comfortable inside than outside. All of these devices measure the temperature at the tips of metal probes and transmit the temperature information to a receiver over an RF link…

Pros
  • Reliable and accurate sensors. The wireless meat thermometer for grilling and smoking is equipped with a food-grade stainless steel probe with a rounded tip for more accurate and faster temperature reading; Probe wires can withstand temperatures up to 716 Fahrenheit
Cons
  • not reliable
