Various advantages: A clever way to increase the amount of memory available on a mac. You don't need to upload files to your computer in order to edit video if you have a connected solid-state drive (ssd). Quick and condensed. Super! Having these drawbacks: I'm not sure if this is a coincidence or not, but the wire from the kit seems to be able to make its way into type C of my mac in an off-kilter fashion. However, this is such a load of crap:) There, it reduces the height by a half millimeter.
