Serious Value - Multimeters and Analyzers

I've been using multimeters for a long time. My first was an analogue of Simpson made during Bakelite. Nothing was more American than the combination of phenolic chemistry and high quality American components like precision ±0.5 resistors. All this to say that I got through this little piece of China at a moderate pace. It matches my trusty Fluke within 1%. The Fluke display is failing so this will be a backup until I fix it. Pros: Rubberized body raised over the screen, sensor holder, stand, backlight, it reads fairly quickly, hold and min/max, backlit sensor ports for the controversial eyepiece. Cons: No memory for last used function setting, no case, only 10A AC/DC. If you have severe OCD, note that my COM sensor cable was 1.7mm longer than the VΩmA connector. Summary: I have read all the other reviews and if they are correct there may be quality issues. Some obviously don't know how to use a multimeter. Some complain about the inability to replace the fuse. The instructions that came with it say it can be done. I've never blown a fuse. If you are prone to this, please keep playing around with electricity. There are enough people like you in the world who have already consumed precious air. So far, this meter has already paid for itself by diagnosing four bad capacitors and one bad resistor. The DC measurement is more accurate than the AC measurement. Hz and temperature are pretty close together. I would buy again and will consider other offerings from Kaiweets. Will be updated if there are problems

Cons
  • Crumpled
