Great for a day on the porch, grass or beach. It is large enough for 2 adults and some necessities. The windows easily roll up for privacy or to block the sun and the front section unzips to allow stretching out or it can be zipped all the way. Sets up like a traditional tent. The poles are the same as a tent.they bend in several sections to become a single piece that can arch, if placed carefully and correctly. If it is rushed and forced through then you will have trouble setting it up. Since I have experience with tents this came easy and the material of the shelter is not as dense as a sleeping tent so I made sure not to force it and just pay attention and it sets up fast. It stays down if I put some rocks or 1lb ankle weights in the "pockets" meant to put a weighted element into. We did even sleep in it on a dry warm summer night a few times and it was fine for the chosen conditions. Really a great protective way to spend a day outside with plenty of room and options. A great and also compact, lightweight addition for a summer outing!
