Review on Kegconnection Kegerator Beer Line Cleaning by Kimberly Marquez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This is the simplest barrel cleaning kit.

This kit has everything except a 5 gallon bucket for $3 and even a wrench!. It also gives you enough cleaning solution for dozens of uses. You mix about 1/2 gallon of cleaning solution (1 teaspoon water and warm water), fill the bottle, unscrew the faucet, then screw on the hose and connect the bottle, insert the ball jack into the keg socket, place the socket in the bucket , then turn the bottle upside down . Mine went through so quickly I was able to stand and hold the bottle with ease, but that depends on the length of your beer lines (press gently to start the flow). The bottle will shrink as the water drains because there is no way to equalize the pressure, so I had to loosen it halfway to get the bottle back into shape. In addition, it worked perfectly. Be sure to run clean water after your cleaning solution has run out. and I soak (immerse) the barrel connector in the solution for 30 minutes. After reconnecting, my new keg tasted noticeably better than when I first tapped my previous one. I definitely recommend it. (I have a Danby Kegerator)

Pros
  • SAFE TO USE: 8 oz Brew Clean Solution is a safe and easy to use powdered solution. It will not cause rust on kegs/home brewing equipment. This formula really helps protect the metal from corrosion. Only 1 tablespoon of Brew Clean solution is required per cleaning (enough for about 20 cleanings).
