It has been since the S8 was introduced. Totally my fault for using it with untied shorts (I like to wear walmart and 1 shorts to work and around the house), my phone has fallen off my hip onto the pavement 5 times now and my phone has survived with no issues. The case is dented and today after falling twice 15 seconds apart it finally broke where the strap clip connects to the case. That's why I'm writing this review because I came here to buy it again. Five again, counting FIVE drops from almost 3 feet per drop, and the drop did the trick for the S8 too. works for me I'm not used to dropping my phone, but this time I'll definitely get back to not dropping my phones. and broke the clip again. The clip is the weak point of this case, as is the inability to use a good screen protector. For that I give 4 stars. To be honest this will be a deal breaker with safety glass for many. This phone just doesn't go well with phone cases and glass screen protectors. Not sure if that will be the case with this phone's screen design. Anyway, I'm going with Otterbox next. Your clips are much stronger.
