Cute summer bag a little thin

Cute summer straw bag bigger than I thought the bag is about 10 inches wide and 9 inches top to bottom very thin and a little thin bag so I wouldn't start to carry something too heavy in it, there is a small pocket on the side inside, but it would be better if it was a zipped pocket, not an open one. The length of the strap is too long, at least for me, I'm 5ft 2in and it comes to mid-thigh. I tied a knot at one end to make it shorter and fit me better.
