For a 1999 Yamaha Roadstar 1600. Yes it fits the battery box. No the post are not the same. I have to figure a way to attach my cables. No there are no screws or nuts with the battery. Now I will have to take the battery to the hardware store and see if they have those little square nuts and short screws to fit. But most likely will just send back. I needed this battery for a three day trip next week.
