It worked well but there is a learning curve.

I managed to get it working but it took some practice (ie I messed up a sheet before I figured it out). Here are some tips that I hope will help you. I have the Silhouette Cameo 3. *Use the oldest cutting mat. It leaves tiny threads and fluff behind * Place the sheet right (fabric) side up. The lettering looks normal (not mirrored like other HTVs) *after numerous markings I ended up using an automatic knife* my settings are: light fabric, speed 3, power 30, 2 passes 2 passes were critical - 2nd pass cut the glue. I still had to use my finger to push out some of the letters. *Use wide, short block letters, nothing rich. Unusual lettering will not cut well * You will need a carrier sheet. I used a piece of leftover media from another HTV project. Do not use regular vinyl backing, it may melt. I removed the letters while they were still on the cutting mat, then placed the backing sheet over the letters and lifted them off the mat. *I don't have a heat press. I use an old Singer iron press. I put it on cotton and pressed for 15 seconds. I let it cool, removed the backing sheet and pressed again for another 10 seconds. At this point I turned off the iron and just let it snuggle until it cooled. The photo shows an old t-shirt that I used as a test. This is after washing. It would be nice if they included instructions. It may have saved me time, frustration, and guesswork.
