Bought an old Kirby from a neighbor for a good price. The belt was quite worn - half was a cut. But for some reason the belt still worked! What is this madness? Knowing that I would eventually need a new belt, I decided to order these belts. I'm happy to report that these are genuine Kirby straps and the rubber material is nearly indestructible. Is that the secret formula they use? How do they sell them so cheap when big vacuums have belts that cost twice as much and have the durability of old rubber belts? secret for another day.
