Be careful, this item is ambiguously labeled AC/DC

Nothing is wrong with the product itself. For the money this is a good spot ammeter. The problem is that it says it measures AC and DC current. This usually means that the clamp meter is measuring AC or DC current. It measures DC voltage, but clamp meters only measure AC. If you are looking for an AC power clamp, this is a good choice. If you need to measure DC amps, look elsewhere.
