Brighter than traditional incandescent bulbs, these LEDs illuminate the cab and trunk better than incandescent bulbs. The only complaint about the color temperature is cold blue. I wouldn't consider it a "white light". In addition, the LEDs in the cockpit do not go out completely, so they give off a soft glow at night. This is a useful feature as the map lights up in the front (because the glow is dim) but the rear seat LED glows brighter and I would have preferred it to be turned off completely while driving. When installing, don't forget to replace the bulbs if they don't work the first time. The third brake light seal is a common leak on the F150. I would recommend putting in a silicone bead after reinstalling the charge lights.
