Worked great! Pro tip: use clear packing tape

Product works great. I used to work with resin and knew it would stick to anything. To prevent this I used a THICK 3M tape which I hope will help others to get a good repair result. I used the tape for the following 3 purposes. 1) Color Matching I used clear tape to apply resin to the tub to see how well the color matched. To match the color, do a small amount with the paint as it will definitely turn out too dark even with a very small amount of paint on the toothpick head. Then create another large stack for the actual repair. Then mix a small amount of Batch 1 with Batch 2 until you get the color you want. Place it on the clear tape on the tub to check the color. Add a little more until the color matches. 2) Wrap clear tape around the hole to be repaired before mixing the paint. Then sand this area with 220 grit (100 grit in the kit seemed superfluous to me). Replace the tape around the hole. Also stick the tape on the yellow expander from the kit so you can reuse it if needed. Apply the patch. Try to smooth it out without leaving indentations and let it dry for 24 hours. 3) sand with 220 with tape applied, just a little. Remove the tape, add more tape and sand smooth. Keep changing bands. The reason I did this is so as not to damage the finish of our bathtubs in areas that don't need repairing. Once it seemed flat I changed the tape, going back to 500 grit, then 1000, then 1200, removed the tape and finished with car polish and carnub wax. Unfortunately the color didn't turn out perfect because the materials are different, but I'm very happy with the result. . I hope this helps you all to get a good product repair. Also buy/get additional stirrers like popsicle sticks to mix the resin. I bought a $3.99 wet sandpaper kit from Harbor Freight because it included 220, 500, 1000, and 1200 grit sandpaper at a great price.
