Made from the cheapest plastic. The handguard doesn't fit very well, it just sits on top of the slicer with little edges that keep you on course, but it's very sloppy. uncomfortable to hold. You need to press the guard and the green button at the top together. The blades are not as sharp as you would expect from a food slicer. It's more like a cheap free gift you get when you order pans, a deep fryer, or something like that. Don't let the sheer amount of detail fool you into thinking you're making a deal. It's terrible.
