I thought the velcro on top would make them a good option for my son's fat little feet but they didn't fit for two reasons . . 1: The top looks like it should be adjustable, but unless you pull it all the way (which we can't do with my son's feet, which are thick, but I don't think they're crazy), the additional velcro strip rubs the upper feet. 2: The top closure is too easy and tempting for the baby to open. When we tried them on my daughter who has slimmer legs there was no way I could wear them on her because she kept tearing the velcro.
