The blades are too blunt.
I bought a different brand of apple peeler a few years ago and loved it, but the blades have dulled after years of use. I bought these replacement blades because they are identical to the ones that came with my apple peeler. They fit perfectly in my vegetable peeler but are just as dull as my very used ones. upset. I'm not sure if the quality of the blades has gone down over the years or if it's just this brand.
