Don't pay too much attention to these connectors. Metal brackets are rather weak. I didn't really see a mechanism for attaching the plastic cover to the metal base. If the plastic part was heat shrinkable and the metal was stronger I would rate them better. Functionally, I soldered them to the active speaker wire and didn't get a clean signal. The performance is also lower than desired. In their current form they are rather pathetic.
