Review on πŸš— GM Original Equipment ACDelco 25773946 TPMS Sensor for Tire Pressure Monitoring System by Chris Pettway

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's wearable! It works! See calibration guide (not included).

I replaced a faulty tire valve without realizing I need one for the monitoring system. I've seen a couple of aftermarket offers for double the price and when I saw this ACDelco OEM at this price I couldn't order it fast enough. When I changed the tires on this axle, I asked a service technician to mount them. It didn't do the "Relearn" routine, so I kept getting the "Tire Service Monitor" signal. FYI, here are the tools for the "Retrain" procedure on a 2003 Cadillac Deville DTS: Ignition KeyCar RemoteMagnet1. Start the vehicle with the ignition key (refer to the owner's manual for this procedure).2. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons at the same time. That means press both at the same time. See user manual for lock and unlock button location.3. Start with the LEFT FRONT tire (on the left when you're in the car, which is the driver's side in the US), attach the magnet to the tire valve (check your owner's manual for where the tire and valve are) until you a hear one beep (see user manual for how it may sound).4. Go to the LEFT REAR hoop. and do the same.5. Move to the RIGHT REAR hoop and do the same.6. Move to the RIGHT FRONT wheel and do the same, only this time you should hear TWO beeps. Everything is ready! You should now be able to read the pressure in all four tires. Just make sure to add air if needed. Links to the user manual are given as a joke. I'm giving these instructions because I've been driving for five months and figured I'd have to pay someone to do this simple procedure or buy an expensive tool-thing device to do it. I finally did BING and the first video did it. Why I waited five months (see owner's manual for...).
