Review on Master Lock Adjustable Camouflage 8418DCAMO by Darrius Frison

Cool lock - works well with many trail cameras

I currently have three of these python locks (and three trail cameras - a moultrie, a truth camera and a bushnell trail camera - not all models will fit cables but many do it ). I have used one python on a camera that has been monitoring my property near the barn for over a year, others at various locations along trails on my property to view wildlife. I typically retrieve photos at 1-3 week intervals and haven't had many issues with them getting corrupted. One of the locks didn't work well with the key so I added a few drops of graphite and turned the lock 5-8 times and all is fine again. The locks have been used for a Midwest winter or two and have held up great - I haven't had to take them off after an ice storm - may need to be reheated with a Thermacare heat pack or by hand to melt the ice. in this case. Once you've got the lock in the "hooked" position you can put the cable in and it only goes one way, meaning you can tighten it but not loosen the cable. No one has ever taken one of my cameras from me, but I haven't seen the violators in my photos either.
