This is for one of my work trucks. So I wanted a good tool bag and the bits we usually use to keep them in one place and get rid of some of those wasted tools you have around the job site. When this drill became available I ordered it. Here's what I found: 1. The bag is well designed with a detachable velcro closure in the center and plenty of external pockets. A very important feature is that this bag sits flat and stays open when you open it! It's very frustrating when the tool bag falls off or doesn't stay open! 2. The motor of this drill is brushless! If you use your tools frequently, you will find that this is a very important element. First, it uses less power, so your batteries will last longer. Second, it requires a lot less maintenance. Take a look and you will see that most manufacturers do NOT make changing brushes easy! You almost have to take it to the store to do it. Once you've done that, you've almost spent money on a new tool, and when you add in the time to get it and then get it, it's almost always cheaper to just buy a new drill bit! So look for longer lifespan and better value for money.3. This is one of the best work lights I've seen on a drill press. It actually illuminates the work area, not just a bit of general lighting.4. It's a little strange getting used to the drill stopping so quickly! This is part of the brushless motor's function, the ability to brake quickly. Don't you think it's important? Try to drill a 100 year old beam and your drill gets stuck in a knot and the drill spins in your hands! You will definitely appreciate the quick stop! Saves a broken wrist!5. While I think the 2Ah battery is small for a working drill, it makes up for two of those because you can charge one while you work and then have it ready when you need to replace it. The tool lies comfortably in the hand for a long time. It also looks very well built. Time will tell how well built it is. I have corded drills that I've used for over 40 years and still rely on them for big jobs. If it weren't for the batteries I would hope this could do the same. I REALLY want the government to standardize ALL tool batteries so that a 20 volt battery will fit and work with ANY 20 volt tool. The same applies to all other voltages. It's idiotic to have so many different connectors for practically the same battery just to keep you from buying someone else's battery! I'm happy with this tool so far, so it's out of service on the truck. Now only time will tell how good he really is. I will update this review as needed.
