A few months after the purchase, the motion sensor started having issues: at first, the screen would occasionally display the message "Remove your finger from the sensor zone" (even though the user's finger was not even close to the area), then this error started occurring more frequently, and as a consequence, the sensor became stuck, causing the screen to go black and making it impossible to hang up the call while in the middle of a conversation. I'll say it again: the error is "floating," meaning that sometimes it works without any issues and sometimes it doesn't work at all. In accordance with the terms of the warranty, I took it to the flagship service on Mayakovskaya, and although they rebuilt the complete board (the sensor is soldered into it), the issue persisted. Again, they replaced the screen under the terms of the guarantee, and the sensor now functions through the new screen. It took a few weeks to complete each of the repairs. At first, the problem stopped happening, but then it started happening again and it started happening more frequently. I bought it exactly one year ago, and while I could still turn it in under the warranty, I don't see the point in doing so. Everything that was associated with the sensor has already been replaced, so there isn't much else they can do. This is my first and most likely only purchase from Xiaomi; from now on, I will only buy Korean products. I have already had one problem with a warranty claim, and the device was fixed while I watched.
