I have been keeping high tech aquariums for 6 years now. I have used Azoo, Fluval, Aquatek and GLA regulators. The main competitor of this device on the market is the Aquatek paintball device. An Aquatek device can typically be purchased for $100, which is significantly cheaper. The Aquatek block is also almost entirely made of plastic and looks cheap. This Fzone block is made almost entirely of black anodized aluminum and looks very solid. The Fzone regulator is designed to be mounted on a vertical cylinder such as a paintball can or some fire extinguishers. Other than that, it worked flawlessly on my spare 10lb CO2 cylinder for testing. I give this device a solid 5/5, build quality is amazing, design is amazing, customization is super easy, ease of use is amazing, value is second to none. The Fzone regulator came with a wrench, an Allen key, spare o-rings and a paintball tank adapter. Even my super high end GLA ESC didn't come with all of that. It arrived ahead of the bricks and hardware for my upcoming office tank build so check back I will add updates for review once the tanks are set up and how the unit has been going for 60 days. It's rare to be overly surprised by the quality of an item, but this one does. If you are looking for a mini controller, this is the one for you.
