After 2.5 years of use, the switch on my air compressor had a leak that was not easy to fix. This part worked great as a replacement. It has an extra port that you need to plug, so make sure you have that part as well as a right angle or tee and a relief valve to make all the necessary connections. It took some fine tuning to set the correct cut-in pressure. All it takes is a flathead screwdriver to turn a metal set screw in the switch cover (top clockwise, bottom counterclockwise). The factory setting was much higher than the safety valve limit.
